This is a fantastic good quality chippy, where we visited on 2 occasions whilst on holiday. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food excellent. I also made the mistake of leaving my spectacles which they kindly returned through the post. Doesn't get any better than this.
Superb fish and chips, cooked to order. A bonus was the provision of tartare sauce and a slice of lemon, which was a great touch. The staff were excellent.
Lovely fish and chips sat outside in the sun perfect. Food was great with friendly happy staff. Well worth the walk to about 6-7 minutes walk from the promenade. Recommend
Amazing fish & chips would highly recommend and the curry sauce was gorgeous
Delicious takeaway, best fish & chips in years! Freshly cooked, not dripping in oil, well presented with fresh lemon wedge & tartare sauce.
First time been here and it was so great! The cod fish is soft and juicy, the outside was crispy and very thin. The taste is just fine and not salty. The homemade curry sauce is delicious and not spicy, suitable for kids as well. It should be one of the best fish and chip I tried and highly recommend ...
Was working on a job round the corner when one of the lads suggested a chippy for dinner, didn’t go in with high expectations but my god was I surprised, best haddock I’ve had in my life second to none and the chips, mushy peas and curry sauce were all spot on as well! I wasn’t waiting for ages either despite there being other customers and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming! Brought me right back to my childhood that chippy did and I will definitely be back again if I’m in or around the area!
On a visit from Yorkshire. Delighted to say our option of Haddock fish and chips were great. Home made curry sauce was lovely! Staff were friendly and the senior aged gentleman was a laugh. A bit of humorous banter about Yorkshire men....... Which I’m suspect that he is and not Welsh, as he claims, as he didn’t throw in a free curry sauce :D. The other male and female staff members were brilliant aswell. All in all a lovely highly recommended fishy. Cheers guys, The Yorkshire Giants will be visiting again!
